15-year-old Cameroonian footballer abandoned in France

The French Gendarmerie of Louhans (Bourgogne) has stated that the unnamed young Cameroonian reported himself at their station after being abandoned by a fake football agent in front of the Louhans Stadium.

The victim is said to have travelled from Cameroon to France via Portugal with the agent who had collected money from his parents back in Cameroon.

No French football authority has indicated interest in the boy yet. Thus the French police have opened investigations to determine if the young Cameroonian had fallen into the hands of a network that is responsible for the trafficking of illegal immigrants.
