They had been suspended from the exercise of their journalistic profession by the NCC on November 27 for 6 and 3 months.

The administrative tribunal of the Centre decided Thursday, 11 December, to rehabilitate two journalists of the private television Vision 4, belonging to the group the Anecdote, who had been hit by suspensions of six and three months for the exercise of their profession. The suspension had been imposed by the National Council of Communication during its November 27, 2014 decision.

The administrative court ordered the "execution of the decision of November 27, 2014 suspended" temporarily suspending Ernest Obama, presenter of the program "Décryptages" on Vision 4; and Perfect Ayissi Etoa, presenter of the programme "Arrêt majeur" on the same string. The first was fined a suspension of six months, and the second a three-month suspension.

"This decision of the Administrative Tribunal does not cancel the sanctions by the NCC. It only provisionally rehabilitates the journalists who had been suspended pending the Court of first instance in Yaoundé which had been notified on the matter.
