Hugo Mama Schlick for the triple jump is one of the 20 Cameroonian athletes chosen to represent the nation in Marrakech, Morocco. Of all the athletes, Cameroonian has a higher chance of winning with Hugo Mamba Schlick who stays on top of his game. His jump of 15, 77m, achieved July 23 during a meeting in France is something that is still fresh in the minds of fans.

The question is, if the Cameroonians could do better than the 16m50 at the Championships of France in 2013 then we stand a chance of making it.

Fernand Djoumessi, an excellent chap in high jump is another athlete the nation counts on for a medal. The Cameroonians will try to break a personal record set at 2, 22 m. In 2010, he took a bronze medal. They say that Fernand Djoumessi relies on the tricks of the German school to excel.

Another Cameroonian athlete, Sarah Ngo Ngoa called up in the Cameroonian 4 x 100 relay team, is also very promising in the long jump, just like Sandrine Mbimi is also noted for the triple jump, but above all, Halo Douglas, gold medalist at the African Games in Mozambique in 2011 raises the hopes of Cameroonian fans best. Also in sprinting, is Adam Idrissa.

Despite the unpreparedness of the athletes, it is clear in any case that each of the Cameroonian representatives absolutely wants to shine in Morocco. These athletes are also striving to qualify for the Cup continental (13-14 September 2014), a competition which takes place every four years and bring together the best two or three athletes from each continent (Africa, Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe) in each discipline.
