The 2015 project logbook containing projects for execution with funds from the public investment budget has been published by the Ministry of the Economy, Programming and Regional Development.
The Minister of the Economy, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi say the early publication of the project logbook is part of governments measures to ameliorate the rate of consumption of the 2015 public investment budget that stands at 1150 billion CFA francs.
The measure by government is amongst others taken to improve upon the consumption of the public investment budget which so far stands below 50%.
For his part the Minister Delegate in charge of Public Contracts, Abba Sadou indicated that measures are already in place to launch the contracts soonest. He added that the contracts will be launched early enough to enable different state holders realized projects and programmes within the stated deadline.
