The Korea has granted a financial support of 4 billion CFA francs in favour of Cameroon for the improvement of vocational training in the country.
An agreement to this effect was signed Thursday between the two countries, materializing a project that had been in the pipeline for some time.
With this agreement, South Korea confirms its commitment to build and equip three modern vocational training centres, respectively in Douala in the Littoral region, Sangmelima in the South and in Limbe in Southwest.
By signing these documents, the Ambassador of Korea to Cameroon Cho June-Hyuck and the Minister of economy, planning and territorial development Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, magnified the "mutually beneficial" cooperation between the two countries.
These vocational training centres will particularly focus areas of spikes, allowing Cameroon to have a workforce appropriate to the moment where this country which aims to achieve the economic emergence by 2035 has hired in recent years, integrated projects that require a quality workforce.
