The National and African gynecologists launched the 6th workshop of endoscopic surgery in Gynecology on the theme: how to curb bleeding in Yaounde April 13, 2015.
"Before starting such an operation, we must first make an assessment to be sure that everything has been set up. This should be done for even those who have good experience in the discipline," revealed Pr Jean Marie Kasia, President of the African society of endoscopic surgery in gynecology (AFSGE), also Director of the Centre hospitalier de recherche d’application en chirurgie endoscopique et reproduction humaine (CHRACERH).
During this launch, Pr Jean Marie Kasia enlightened participants explaining that "during a surgery, one is not free from complications including bleeding and for that matter, the gynecologist must know how do sutures without opening up his patient".
With regard to this concern, the organisation intends to organise a five-day workshop to teach national gynecologists and other participants to acquire skills on how to do knots endoscopic body intra.
On training modules, the course of this day will be retransmitted surgical procedures live from the operating block, how to avoid complications, the importance of the sutures in surgical endoscopy and analysis of different techniques (introduction, withdrawal of needles and yarns in the abdominal cavity etc.
