The CASA-NET(Cameroonian Skills Abroad-Network) network welcomed participants in Paris for the 7th edition of the DAVOC Forum (Draw A Vision Of Cameroon), which will be held 20-21 November 2014 jointly at the Hotel Molitor (Paris 16th district). In the heart of the reflection, the problem of decentralized cooperation and its impact on the agricultural regions in Cameroon will be discussed.

As a reminder, the theme chosen for the 2014 DAVOC Forum is: "Diaspora, decentralised Cooperation: Focus on the agro-ecological regions. Participants will during their stay in Paris 2014 investigate issues as diverse and important as: The model for cooperation adapted to the regions of Cameroon, the framework of investment and financing of projects at the regional level, the contribution of the diaspora in response to the needs expressed by local decentralised communities.

Beyond the mere exercise of mobilization of the diaspora around a relevant theme, the CASA-NET network invited all to a direct involvement in the implementation of this brick of the OCSG considered essential, and to some extent as a prerequisite to development being implemented in parts of Cameroon.

The issue of access to skills and the finances of the diaspora will be analyzed under the prism of two concrete projects led by CASA-NET over the different editions of the DAVOC Forum: The Cameroonian diaspora skills directory, the investment fund of the Diaspora: FCD (bottom Cameroonians in the Diaspora)
