Abandoned baby under medical care

Feverish since Wednesday, the small Acha, named thus by health personnel, is under the care of Dr. André Choamo, chief physician at the Presbyterian Health Complex de Bépanda.

The mother of the baby, Alvine Stafack, 31 years old, abandoned the child a few hours after birth Saturday morning. The young mother left the hospital under the pretext that she wanted to make a call at the phone booth not far from the hospital after that, all attempts to find her went in vain.

The social service of the Office of the commissariat of the 7th district is arranging the transfer of the child to Yaoundé for a better up keep.
