The leader of Boko Haram released a new video on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in which he claimed the Baga attack which led to almost 2,000 deaths, January 3.

In a 35-minute video published January 20, 2015 on the famous social network YouTube, the leader of the Islamist sect Boko Haram addressed three border countries of Northeastern Nigeria namely Niger, Chad and Cameroon.

Shekau spewed anger on the President of Niger Mahammadou Issoufou, for his involvement in the Republican march in France after the bombings in Charlie Hebdo. Aboubakar Shekau’s video was removed from the site a few hours after its publication by the administration of Youtube. "This video has been removed because its content fails to comply with the conditions of use of YouTube," displayed YouTube when users click on the link.
