Adoum Gargoum meets Moroccan Ambassador

The Kingdom of Morocco’s ambassador to Cameroon, H.E. Lahcen Saile, was received by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Islamic World, Adoum Gargoum, on September 16, 2015.

H.E. Lahcen Saile discussed bilateral relations with the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Islamic World.

The Moroccan diplomat told the press that the meeting was a kind of resumption of regular consultations after a period of recess. Featuring prominently during the discussion was an assessment of the state of bilateral relations between both countries. “We were both satisfied at the evolution of these relations,” he declared.

As evidence, H.E. Lahcen Saile showcased growing presence of Moroccan investments in Cameroon especially in sectors such as banking, insurance, construction, low-cost housing as well as industry with a cement factory running in Douala. He also mentioned the presence of Moroccan companies in several Emergency Plan projects going on around the country.
