The South West Solidarity March in support of the Cameroon army that was held in Buea recorded a huge success according to the organizers. The people of the South West region demonstrated their unflinching support to our men and women in uniform.

Ethnic groups such as the Manyus, the Lebialems, the Bakweris, the Bafaws, the Bakossis, the Orokos including other ethnic minorities deep within the region attended the march. The South West Solidarity March brought even strange bed fellows together!

We watched Dr. Ewumbue Monono Churchill, Special Adviser to President Biya standing shoulder-to-shoulder with his kinsman and former Prime Minister Peter Mafany Musonge. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle was there holding hands with those who want him out of the political stage in Yaounde making the South West solidarity complete and whole.

However, debates are ongoing over the health situation of the Assistant Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, His Royal Highness Minister Peter Agbor Tabi. The Manyu political icon that had a meteoric rise in the CPDM system was rushed to the hospital during the historic march pass in Buea on Saturday April 18, 2015.

Our sources revealed that the Minister received treatment and immediately opted to be transported back to Yaounde, the nation's capital. The Minister Agbor Tabi health situation continues to dominate conversations in and around the Fako constituency.

Correspondingly, the discussions have all been centered on one issue and it is whether the Manyu University Don will be able to run the country as Prime Minister and Head of Government following persistent rumuor that a major cabinet reshuffling will be announced soon.

Our sources also revealed that this is the second time within a very short period that Minister Agbor Tabi has been forced to abandon a major CPDM event. He reportedly took ill some few hours before the 2015 New Year Wishes ceremony at the presidency of the republic.

A source in the Agbor Tabi entourage hinted our reporter in Buea that the Minister has a positive bill of health and will be able to take up any new challenges that will come. Our source added that the Biya acolyte merely suffered a mild breakdown which caused the fall but were no strings attach.

However, our health reporter who contributed to this report did observe that such falls cannot be caused by a 'mere breakdown' but severe health conditions that should be properly examined.

A senior CPDM official from Fako who spoke to Cameroon Concord noted that the Minister is a very hard worker and needs some rest and serious medical checkups in Europe because his health is deteriorating each passing day as was witnessed publicly in Buea and in Yaounde.
