The family of footballer Albert are peeved because of the silence of the Cameroonian authorities and contradictory versions given by the Algerian party.

Albert Ebossé, 25 years old footballer whose death occurred under cloudy circumstances, died August 23, 2014, at the hospital in Tizi Ouzou, 110 km east of Algiers. The Algerian authorities quickly took the first step by promising to bring perpetrators to book as they announced that, the Cameroonian striker has received a shot on the head from the stands by a fan of his team. According to reports, it happened at the entrance to the locker room after the home defeat of sporting Kabilye (JSK), his youth club after facing USM Alger (2-1) in a match counting the second day of the national championship.

Then, new revelations (video webcast) came to contradict the first version of the facts, indicating that Albert Ebossé had left the lawn without any problems and would rather have been assaulted in the locker room by a militia working on behalf of the president of JSK. The Cameroon player who had yet scored the lone goal for his team, including the home defeat provoked the anger of his supporters.

What seems more unfortunate and incomprehensibleabout his death, is the attitude of the Government of Algeria, unable to shed light on this heinous murder.

Despite the warnings of the African football Confederation (Caf), whose president, Cameroonian Issa Hayatou has demanded "exemplary sanctions", JSK simply promised to pay the salary of the player murdered to his family for the duration of his contract, in addition to compensation.

The Minister of Sports Mohamed Tahmi made of dilatory denouncing a "crime", while an inquiry has been ordered by the Ministry of the Interior in addition to the closure of the Tizi Ouzou Stadium decided by the League. The president of the Federation Mohamed Raouraoua expressed his "indignation" following this 'heinous act' and hoped that the perpetrators of this "heinous act" are "severely punished". Beyond all these fine speeches, the assassins are still at large.
