After painting the Cameroons with dark colors in a published work in 2011, the French journalist casts now the specter of a rebellion in the Northern part of the country.

Through a dispatch of August 26, 2014, the Mediapart news website publishes information collected by the ex-correspondent of Liberation in Cameroon.

Article entitled "Cameroon: Paul Biya, after more than thirty years of reign, faces a rebellion" returns on different raids perpetrated by the Nigerian Islamist sect in Cameroon.

The journalist argues that "armed violence and attacks that develop in the North of the country are systematically attributed by the Cameroonian authority to Islamist Boko Haram." But everything indicates that this is a rebellion. Some former Ministers and the regime always attempt to finish with Paul Biya, more than 81 years and thirty-two years of reign".

Mediapart said that the rebellion portrays Boko Haram as being in custody of the hostages, and also involved in the training of recruits and the provision of equipment. «The camp Bushra has a commando of 35 Cameroonians, they are the ones who keep the ten kidnapped Chinese in Waza, says the french site.

And added: "As initiators and financers of this movement, they would be looking at politicians from the North and members of the ruling party. ”Their objective is to destabilize Biya, or even to overthrow him. One of them, says the article by Fanny Pigeaud, being Marafa Hamidou Yaya.

Behind these 'dubious revelations' of Mediapart, there is a will manifest to create instability in Cameroon and opprobrium on some people. Fanny Pigeaud, unintentionally or intentionally, presents the Boko Haram attacks as a rebellion of northerners, maintained and funded by the elites of the North, and particularly the former Secretary General of the Presidency.

Everything takes the allures of an insurrection of northerners to dislodge from power, Paul Biya. Sufficient to create discord and disorder within the Cameroonian opinion. Because, this insinuation is likely to set fire between the sons of the North and South Cameroon. Already, we are witnessing a sort of stigma, with the appearance at the vitriol of the "lists of the Marafa pro" or "Marafistes".

Worse still, at the end of last week, several elites of the North met in a private home, for a response faced with what is now called "Northern rebellion", we learn. According to our sources, participants in this conclave agree on one fact: the article by Fanny Pigeaud is a collection of false accusations whose objective is to stick a bad label to the barrons du septentrion.

According to the information received by the weather, with regard to the attitude to be adopted, opinions are divided in the 'Northern Group'. For some, an immediate and as violent as the prosecution response is mandatory, while for others, they expected the arbitration of the head of State.
