Alleged assassin of Marafa’s secretary obtains BAC D

From his cell, the Rwandan refugee continue claiming he's innocent. Victor Muvandimwé, 20 years, was arrested on June 09 at the end of his BAC D 2014 examination, after he was caught in possession of the phone of Christiane Soppo Mpondo.

Charged with murder, he was placed in pre-trial detention at the Kondengui Prison. While there, he learned that he has obtained his BAC D with a "rather good" remark.

This young man of Rwandan descent whose family took refuge in Cameroon, stood before judge Vincent de Paul Noah at the Court of first instance in Mfoundi.

This young Rwandan was arrested June 09, 2014 by regional delegation of the judicial police of Yaounde because the mobile phone he had (Samsung galaxy S2), belonged to the Secretary of Marafa Hamidou Yaya, who was found dead in his home on January 26, 2014. According to a police source, the phone was followed via its GPS.

On June 13, 2014, Victor Muvandimwé was presented to justice on indictment of the Prosecutor of the Republic who held against him the offence of murder. He was charged and remanded in custody at Kondengui central prison.
