Ambassador Jerome Mendouga to be laid to rest on December 6

The late ambassador Jerome Mendouga, former ambassador of Cameroon to the USA, Zaire and Senegal will be laid to rest this weekend. He died at the age of 76 while serving a prison term.

1:30 p.m. Mass at the Cathedral of Notre Dame des Victoires Yaounde

1:30 p.m. Mass and vigil at the family home located at Elig-Essono

Saturday, December 6, 2014

7 am: arrival and transfer of remains to Ekyeh (Yaoundé IV)

9am: early traditional ceremonies

13pm: Transfer of remains to the Basilica of Mary Queen of Apostles Mvolyé

14pm: Requiem mass at the Basilica of Mary Queen of Apostles Mvolyé

16pm: Burial at the Catholic cemetery Mvolyé
