Arrangements are now in top gear for the forthcoming 27th edition of African Public relations Association (APRA) conference billed to hold in Yaounde, Cameroon come next week.
At a pre-event press conference held at its secretariats in Lagos, the Secretary General of APRA, Mr. Yomi Badejo Okusanya who briefed journalists on the activities of the body in the last few years said the body was deeply concerned about the perception of problem affecting the continent, hence the need for the body to contribute its quota in changing the misconception held about Africa.
As part of its contributions, Badejo explained that the association has designed a programme tagged Campaign Africa to drive the agenda.
With a theme titled 'Africa Trending: Contemporary Challenges, Opportunities in Reputation and Crisis Management', Okusanya said the conference would provide a vista as to how the image crisis plaguing the African continent can be addressed.
