Absent from the special criminal court on Monday, January 12, 2015, the trial of the former Minister of State NPSG has been postponed to January 27.
Since Friday, January 9, 2015, the former SGPR Jean-Marie Atangana Mebara has been on admission at the General Hospital of Yaoundé. This hospitalization follows a previous one, which occurred early May, 2014.
On Monday, January 12, 2014, the case which opposed Jean-Marie Atangana Mebara and Jerome Mendouga (former Ambassador of Cameroon to the United States, recently deceased) to the State of Cameroon was at the special criminal court (CHT).
Because of the change in collegiality in the wake of recent movements in the judiciary, the trial was postponed to 27th January, 2015 for re-establishment of the tribunal.
Two members of the old judicial panel have been transferred.
