The 2014/2015 school year has been launched under the Theme: “The School at the Service of Human Development through Quality Teaching”.
The new school year was launched by the Minister of Secondary Education, Louise Bapes Bapes at the Government Bilingual High School Biyem-Assi, in Yaounde.
Speaking during the Launching ceremony, the Minister beckoned school principals to accept the payment of school fees in installments so as to reduce stress and burden of parents who cannot afford all their children’s fee on time.
Principals were asked to focus on punctuality, assiduity and discipline not only on the part of students but also the teaching staff in order to ensure quality education.
Students on their part were instructed to be more responsible as they start the new school year.
