Ahead of the 2016-2017 academic year, both Government and Private Secondary and High Schools staff have begun intensifying preparations.

More than 95% of administrative staff are said to have respected the official resumption date for pedagogic staff which was yesterday 29th August 2016.

Principals, accountants, Discipline Masters, and secretaries in most of the schools are putting all that it takes to have a good school kick off for the 2016/2017 academic year come 5th September.

Some renovations such as the cleaning and painting of class rooms, Black boards benches are actually being carried out in most colleges.

Most schools have heeded the state’s call of registering a maximum of 60 students in Form one and 80 in other classes.

Meanwhile some staff in the Francophonie section of Education have been busy attending a two day seminar organized by the L’agence International de La Francophonie IFADEM to attain a high quality education for students.
