Bakassi: Cameroon constructs free homes for local fishermen

The military engineering corps of the Cameroon's army commonly referred to in French as Genie Militaire has just completed a construction project of 65 bungalows for local fishermen in Isangele .Genie militaire was awarded the contract by the fisheries and animal husbandry ministry , MINEPIA and had 12 months to do so.

The dateline for delivery was met and today ,the completed project was presented showed to officials of that ministry for inspection. 6 kilometers access road, 65 houses 0f 55m2, 60 toilets, solar energy, water drilling and water tank are part of the package that came up to 600 million CFA francs.

Some 65 fisher men are about to earn a free home each, utilities included upon selection by the MINEPIA
