During his tour of Cameroon, Dr. Klaus-Ludwig Keferstein, the newly installed German Ambassador to Cameroon, while in Bamenda, said the town was rich in untapped touristic destinations that need to be developed.

Look at the hanging hills, very green and the entire landscape of the Northwest speak volumes when it comes to tourism. These are all untapped touristic destinations that need to be developed,” Dr. Klaus-Ludwig Keferstein said.

He also paid a courtesy visit to the Government Delegate to the Bamenda City Council, Vincent Ndumu Nji and also lauded the cleanliness of the city of Bamenda.

“I have been to several towns in Cameroon and I have found Bamenda quite a clean.”

As to development projects in Cameroon, the German Ambassador said he could not comment since he is still discovering Cameroon.

He also ended by saying that the government should pay much attention on the construction of roads.

Also, he appreciated constructions work currently taking place on the Bamenda Ring Road.
