Bangolan: People ask the governor to release their new Fon

After the scene that took place in the Bangolan village in the Ngoketunjia division, Northwest region, a scene that saw the governor’s car being vandalized, the governor arrested the new Fon and some elders.

They were accused of vandalism, and thus were locked up in Bamenda. This action did not intimidate the Bangolan people, who are still behind their new Fon.

They are asking for the release of their new Fon and the elders who were arrested. They presented a memorandum calling on the governor to respect the decision of the Meningong (Traditional society that takes vital decisions).
