President Paul Biya has called on public and private institutions in the country to identify the new trends that come with digitalisation and tailor their syllabuses in that direction.
The President made this call during his address to the Cameroonian youth on February 10, 2016, on the eve of the 50th national Youth Day celebration.
The Head of State recommended that the youth focus on agriculture and digital
economy, meaning that secondary education must be professionalised.
While calling the generation an “Android” one, H.E. Paul Biya recommended that
enterprises should actively join the digital switch-over bandwagon; an innovation which will give financial institutions an upper hand in businesses.
To H.E. Paul Biya, companies are not only looking for graduates but also for those who are skilled (specialised) in various domains.
