A Council of Ministers meeting was held at the Unity Palace Tuesday 9 December in line with the vision for the implementation of the national plan of development plan.

Paul Biya gathered close to 60 members of Government at the unity Palace for a meeting which lasted nearly 25 minutes. On the agenda of this meeting was a presentation by the Prime Minister Philemon Yang and a special communication from the head of State requiring the implementation of a national plan of development.

Priced at 1,000 billion CFA francs, this three-year plan will have the support of many banks installed in Cameroon. It will contain mass infrastructure in the fields of urban development, agriculture, among other.

This announcement was once echoed at the Council of cabinet of last April, when the Prime Minister spoke of a "contingency plan for the acceleration of economic growth in Cameroon", which sounded like a questioning of the OCSG.
