Biya condemns Ouagadougou hotel attack

President of Cameroon, Paul Biya has strongly condemned the January 16 “cowardly and heinous attacks” in Burkina Faso’s capital Ouagadougou which killed 30 people.

In a condolence address to his counterpart Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, president Biy expressed his emotion following the Splendid Hotel and Cappuccino restaurant attacks which also wounded many others.

Denouncing fanatics of violence, President Biya sent his deepest condolences to the newly elected President, the families of victims and the people of Burkina Faso while wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
