Biya consoles Gabon on death of former senate

President Paul Biya has expressed his condolences to the Republic of Gabon on the death of former senate Mrs. Rose Francine Rogombe. Below is the letter from president Biya to Gabon.

Mr. President and dear brother,

I learned with regret the death of Mrs. Rose Francine Rogombe, former President of the Senate and former Acting President of the Gabonese Republic, which occurred in Paris on April 10, 2015.

Your country has lost a wife and a prominent political figure whose career, sense of service to the State has earned earned her respect and consideration.

I address you on this sad occasion, to yourself, family and the Gabonese Parliament, my sincere condolences.

Please accept, Mr. President and dear brother, the assurances of my highest consideration.
