Biya designates 2 new ambassadors to France,USA

A presidential decree designating Samuel Mvondo Ayolo and Henri Etoundi Essomba as Cameroon’s Ambassadors to France and the USA respectively, have been signed.

The decree was signed by President Paul Biya on Monday, April 11, 2016, in Yaounde.

Samuel Mvondo Ayolo before his appointment served as Cameroon’s Ambassador to Gabon after having served in the same capacity in the Republic of Sao-Tome.

He was born on January 12, 1957, in Sangmelima in the Dja and Lobo Division of the South Region.

He is a holder of a maîtrise and a diplôme d’études approfondies DEA in Public Law from the Jean Moulin University in Lyon – France.

In 2004 and 2008, Samuel Mvondo Ayolo served as interim Secretary General in Cameroon's Ministry of External Relations.

Meanwhile, Henri Etoundi Essomba, served as Cameroon’s Ambassador to Israel before he was called to the same post of responsibility in the United States of America.

He is a native of Yaounde and was born on March 2, 1949.

He is a holder of a Doctorate Degree in International Relations from the Cameroon Institute of International Relations, IRIC.

He replaces Joseph Bienvenu Charles Foé Atangana as Cameroon's Ambassador to the United States of America.
