President Paul Biya has sounded a note of caution to Chadian head of state Idris Derby on the issue of Chadian support for the Boko Haram militants and the rebels fighting the government in Central Africa Republic.

Cameroon Concord gathered that discussions between a special envoy of the Chadian president Makaye Hassan Taisso and Biya was not cordial at state house this morning.

Our sources at the presidency of the republic hinted that Biya told Makaye Hassan who also doubles as Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research to tell his president to "think and rethink things" over his support for armed groups threatening to destabilize the Sub Saharan region including the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

As if to make mockery of the visit of the Chadian president's special envoy, Etoudi released a statement for the first time ever in Biya's 31 years as head of state jointly announcing the audience with the Chadian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and creating a national football academy in Cameroon.

Major media houses in Cameroon including Cameroon Concord have reported that the French government has been shipping military hardware from Libya via Chad and Niger to Boko Haram militants and the rebels in Bangui.
