Bodo attack victims rises to 98

The number of victims increased to 98 people, including 32 deaths, after a suicide attack carried out in the northeast of this capital, Cameroonian Communication Minister Issa Bakary said today.

The attack took place when four insurgents blew themselves up in a market and entrances to the town of Bodo, Bakary said.

This was one of the worst attacks on Cameroonian territory carried out by the terrorist group Boko Haram, according to local media.

According to Cameroon Tribune, the death toll could rise further as a number of those taken to the hospital were in serious condition.

Cameroonian troops are part of a regional group that fight Boko Haram, by agreement of the African Union.
