The Member of Parliament for Mayo Sava was released by Boko Haram Tuesday 26 August 2014 and he announced good news concerning the wife of the Deputy Prime Minister Amadou Ali.

Held hostage by Boko Haram in Nigeria for nearly two weeks, the mediator for the release of hostages kidnapped in Cameroon finally breathed the wind of freedom Tuesday evening.

After leaving Cameroon for Nigeria to negotiate the release of hostages held at Kolofata especially the wife of Amadou Ali, the negotiator Abba Bora Malla, was transformed into hostage by kidnappers.

For nearly two weeks, neither the family of Malla Boukar, nor those who had commissioned him to Nigeria had news of him. This silence had raised concerns and his relatives had understood that the Hunter had become the hunted.

Arrived unexpectedly at his home in Mora Tuesday around 6 p.m., the CPDM MP of Mayo Sava would not comment on his disappearance that had left his family in anxiety. Rather, the Ombudsman announced good news about the Kolofata hostages who could like him regain their freedom within the next hours.
