Boko Haram threats leads to discovery of other criminals

Since the terrorist group Boko Haram launched the suicide attack on Cameroonian soil, the forces of law and order nationwide have resorted to a systematic search with fruitful outcomes.

Barely one week after the third suicide attack, military men in the Far North Region carried out an organised search and arrested some suspects of suicide bomb.

Shortly after in Ngaoundere, the same kind of search was launched and a traditional prison hosting 71 people mostly children illegally detained, was discovered.

More still in Douala the forces of law and order carried out a systematic search and arrested 19 suspects- dealers of illegal drugs and other items on 9th August 2015.

The neighbourhoods targeted were Makea, Ndogpassi, New Bell and Nkololoun early on Sunday, Morning 9th August, 2015, under the supervision of the Regional Delegate for National Security Littoral.

They were caught with numerous packs of illegal drugs and other items such as cocaine, cannabis, fake bank notes, electrical appliances, stethoscope, gas plates and cylinders and a bag containing mobile phones.

The suspects are presently under Police custody in Douala.

The nationwide systematic search from all indications has been yielding fruits as some hidden criminals are being arrested.
