Bui division tops 2014 F.S.L.C Exams

The results of First School Leaving Certificate Examination for the North region have been released with Bui Division topping the North West as the overall first with a percentage of 96. 5%. A total of 6990 pupils wrote the first school leaving certificate Examination in Bui and 6746 passed.

According to the Bui Divisional Delegate of Basic Education Mr.Angwafor Clement Mankefo Bui division emerged second in the 2013 F.S .L C in the North West region. According to him the results came as a result of close follow-up of the writing of the examination by him and his close collaborators to timely supervise the said examination in the division.

According to our sources the classification of the results of the first school leaving certificate examination in the North West is as follows. For Momo which came second 3144 pupils sat the examination in 43centres and 2870 passed scoring 91.28%.

Mezam division the third division wrote the examination in 51 centres with total candidates of 10,578 pupils who sat and 9615 passed with a percentage of 90.9%, the Donga Matung Division had 6092 pupils who wrote the examination in 51centres and 5367 passed scoring a percentage of 88.10% to come out 4th position.

Boyo division that came 5th put in 3793 candidates and 3329 passed scoring 87.77%. while Menchum division which sent in 5315 pupils to write the examination in 26 centers and 2956 passed the examination to place Menchum division in the 6th position with 84.10% and Ngoketunjia Division that occupied the 7th position sent 4427 pupils to write the examination in 24 centers and 3405 pupils passed scoring a percentage of 76.91%.

As for the results of the F.S.L.C registered in the six sub division of Bui, Mbven subdivision emerged the overall sub division in Bui division. 394 pupils wrote the examination and all passed scoring 100%.

In Oku subdivision 1340 wrote the examination and 1330 passed the examination with a percentage of 99.25% to come out second position. Kumbo sub division put in 2063 pupils and 1999 passed scoring 96.90%. while Noni sub division put in 662 pupils and 641 pupils succeeded scoring 96.83% to emerged 4th.

Nkum subdivision put in 1295 candidates and 1246 passed scoring 95.22% to emerge the 5th position while Jakiri sub division put 1263 candidates and 1136 pupils passed scoring 91.91% to come out last in the 2014 First school Leaving Certificate examinations.
