Bulldozer crushes taxi in Yaoundé

On Thursday at the Mimboman district just a week after the horrible Biyem-Assi accident which claimed eight lives and injured ten. Two people have also been seriously injured in an accident at the Mimboman district in Yaounde.

A bulldozer crushed a taxi leaving two people seriously injured as well as damages of goods packed in the car. This accident took place around 4 p.m., at the Terminus.

According to reports, a bulldozer was towing another bulldozer as the rope that held the vehicles together slipped out of the loop a few meters after the second junction at Emombo.

Witnessed wondered how the administrative authorities could have allowed these machines to move during the day, especially few days after the Minister of transport prohibited heavy vehicles from moving between 6: 00 am and 9: 00pm.
