The Democratic Front for the Central African people (FDPC) rebels have finally witnessed the release of their leader, Abdoulaye Miskine, in Exchange for Polish priest Mateusz Dziedzic and 26 hostages, including 15 Cameroonians who were detained in the West of the Central African Republic.
Uncertain, and even compromised until the last moment, the release of Abdoulaye Miskine was finally effected. While he was detained in Yaounde for almost a year, the rebel leader flew Thursday 27 November to Brazzaville on an aeroplane of the Congolese Presidency.
His release and three of his relatives were received by men of the Democratic Front for the Central African people (FDPC) in Exchange the Polish priest Mateusz Dziedzic and 26 hostages, including 15 Cameroonians.
Mateusz Dziedzic and Abdoulaye Miskine also boarded the same plane to the Congolese capital. Abducted mid-October in the West of the Central African Republic by men of the FDPC, Fr. Mateusz Dziedzic was released Wednesday.
