CEPCA Executive Secretary for youths becomes pastor

Djomo Junior, seven years, gave words of support and encouragement to the father who has been installed second Pastor of the Oyom-Abang parish in Yaounde.

The new building of oyom abang parish still under construction since 13 months, was full to capacity for the Installation of the new pastor of oyom abang, Djomo Nkwilang Christian.

The congregation come with gifts to welcome the new shepherd who was consecrated pastor in Douala a week earlier.

The Liturgy of the day by Pastor Fetzeu Henoch focused on love amongst Christians. He said God is love n faithful to those who believe and the new pastor should take his calling with love.

During the Installation performed by Pastor Tayo Pierre, the district president of centre 1 District of the EEC, he told the young pastor to save souls from sin and redirect them to salvation and to respect the doctrine of the church.

He urged the christian community of the Eglise Evangelique to assist the pastor accomplish his pastoral mission. Pastor Djomo was first of his batch of 18 news pastors dispatched nationwide to win souls for Christ.

The newly promoted who was born in 1981 in Bertoua is married and father of three. He renewed his pastoral vows in infront of the congregation before he was installed as second pastor of Oyom Abang. The congregation received him with thunderous applause.

He is also Executive Secretary for Youths of the Council of Protestant Churches, CEPCA. His parents and other speakers expressed gratitude to God before calling on the pastor to serve with love, perseverance and total commitment to the almighty.
