CERAC mission takes goodwill gesture to Bakassi

The Circle of Friends of Cameroon CERAC created by First Lady, Chantal Biya has made an offer to the population of Bakassi in the South West Region.

The offer comprised of equipment to the District Hospital and health centres of Bakassi and farming inputs to rural women from the various ends of the peninsula.

Mrs Bertha Ndoh who represented the First Lady led the delegation that was made up of CERAC members including, Mrs Nicole Okalai Bilai wife of the governor of the South West Region.

The official handing over of gifts took place at the Mundemba ceremonial ground.

On the occasion Mrs Bertha Ndoh, while handing over the wheel barrows, waters drums, cassava grinding machines, cutlasses, engines saws, hoes amongst other inputs assured the population that the first Lady is determined to improve upon the wellbeing of the female genre.

To the two health facilities of the area, a motorbike, video projector and a lab top were handed to the District Medial Officer of Bakassi Dr Pascal Fogang Nguemo to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of the very recurrent ailments in the area.

The fishing community was not left out of the philanthropic mission, as the received fishing nets.

Representatives of the receiving population mandated Magdalene Pondy to thank first Lady and the goodwill Ambassador.
