Béatrice Njikam, promoter of the BEAT-NJI laboratory displayed her stand at the palais des Congrès de Yaoundé, under the 7th edition of National Technology Day (JTN). Her stand attracted crowds who sought to find out what she uses to transform honey into medicines, cosmetics, tea and especially, wine and liquor.
Before all the artistic works were displayed at the Congress Hall in Yaounde, the jury from JTN managed to pick the best exhibitor. Prices were thus awarded last Friday, at the close of the event, by a representative of the Minister of Mines, industry and technological development (Minmidt).
It was in this light that the price for the best inventors was awarded to the ENSET of Douala for plastics recycling machine; Dumbu Farming and Rural Development for hydraulic mini-turbine and Simon Pierre Touk Um, generator for rechargeable fan.
Four prizes of recognition for the quality of the work was also given out, as well as a price for the Organization of the intellectual property of the youngest inventor of Jasem 2014, awarded to Serge Hervé Apoupoh Gnoufop, for its automatic incubator.
