CMR is suffering from a 'kind of mentality crisis' - Eto'o

Africa’s greatest footballer of all times Samuel Eto’o Fils has told his country men and women resident in France that Cameroon is suffering from a “kind of mentality crisis”.

The four times African best player of the year and four times winner of the European football Champions League and above all, winner of Cameroon Concord’s Man Of The Year Award in 2004 took advantage of an opportunity accorded him in L’Olympia de Paris by the popular Cameroon Music group X-Maleya to fire back at his detractors.

Said the King of African football “I have done all what I am capable of doing for my country and for my friends. I have given out money to many, bought houses for many, built houses for many, I have done so many good things to my fellow people. But I wish and must tell you all today that mankind is wicked. The person killing you is just béside you”.

Ever since his retirement from the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Cameroon Concord understands that a gang of corrupt Cameroon government officials running the Cameroon football federation have been working day and night to tarnish Eto’o’s hard earned reputation. The reaction from the crowd in L’Olympia de Paris was a clear indication that the Cameroonian people are still with him.
