The standby site technology Ticmag.com revealed the recent statistics on the number of Facebook subscribers by country.
With these data dating back to December 2014, the social network revealed that Facebook had only 980,000 subscribers in Cameroon.
According to the same source, men and young people are the ones that mostly patronise Facebook in the country. Indeed, among subscribers who regularly consult the social network of Marc Zuckerberg in Cameroon, 620,000 are men, (64 percent), against female 360,000 subscribers (36 percent).
These data, taken over by Chedjou Kabir on his blog entitled "Stories of Community Management", also revealed that among the Cameroonian population young people showed high interested in this tool.
The data also revealed that 170,000 subscribers are between 13 and 19 years (17%), 440,000 are between 18 to 25 years (46%) and persons who are 35 years upwards are only 156,000 (16.25%).
