COP 21: Hon. Awudu Mbaya addresses French Senate

Hon. Awudu Mbaya, Executive President of Pan African Parliamentarians Network on Climate Change, has addressed the French Senate on the dangers of climate change in Africa.

According to him, over 35.000 people die every year around the globe due to climate change and that 75% are in Africa.

He concluded that action is needed now to rescue lives and preserve the planet.

Hon Awudu was head of the group of African MPs, who have been advocating for immediate action, a binding agreement and the creation of an international criminal court of climate justice for violators.
