CPDM to celebrate 30 years of existence

The Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) of President Paul Biya will celebrate its 30 years of existence soonest.

Cameroon Concord has gathered that on this occasion, the Secretary General of the ruling party has invited his party comrades in the "sobriety" to support the Cameroonian army and every other security services of the country as they continue to battle with the Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

The thirtieth anniversary of the ruling CPDM will be held under the theme, "the CPDM 30 years of service in Cameroon and still further in the promotion of peace, unity, democracy and progress."

In a circular, Secretary General Jean Nkuete made a clarion call to CPDM militants to be more cautious in view of the progress and results achieved.

Jean Nkuete added that mindful of current national context characterized by the commitment of our country in the anti-Boko Haram coalition, the 30th anniversary celebration should be done with dignity and sobriety demonstrating solidarity with victims of the war.
