The Cameroon Radio Television CRTV this Tuesday 13th June 2016 began training the ever First badge of Journalists/reporters employed to work in the CRTV's News and Information Channel.

The 38 beneficiaries will be trained for nine weeks on News coverage, treatment, editing, and broadcasting at the CRTV Audiovisual Centre Ekounou- Yaounde.

The training entails that, the Journalists go to the field alongside their video cameras, laptops and sound devices to treat their information.

Unlike the traditional method of audiovisual coverage comprising a team of four, the task of work will be carried out by one person that is: they will play a “four in one role” - as Journalists, Cameramen, Sound Technicians and Editors - thus saving much time and the stress of waiting on others.

To this, the Minister of Communication Issa Tchiroma Bakary together with CRTV’s General Manager Amadou Vamoulke, urged the beneficiaries to be diligent as the corporation awaits them with excellent results.

The News and information channel is one among the six new channels of CRTV created purposely to provide news and information of all kinds National and International. It will effective go operational next year-2017.
