The Director General of the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV), Amadou Vamoulke, has visited the CRTV transmission centre in Logbessou Douala to assess the evolution of work and ensure up-to-date equipment is used in construction the new transmitter.

During the visit January 27, 2016, the CRTV Director General was satisfied with the fact that the foundation had been laid and construction of the 200-metre tall new transmitter soon to begin.

The technicians of the construction company, Startimes say the work will be done according to international norms and standards and will span over two months.

The new tower will replace the one which collapsed in 2014 and will serve in transmitting CRTV’s images to the Littoral, South West and other regions of the country.
