Staff and students of the Institute for Training and Audio-visual Conservation (IFCA), former CRTV Audio-visual Production Training Centre have carried out the maiden edition of the flag-raising ceremony on November 11, 2015.
The event was chaired by CRTV’s General Manager, Amadou Vamoulke, in the presence of the Director of the Institute, Dr Francois Marc Modzom. Mr Amadou Vamoulke hailed the initiative, calling on other institutions to emulate the example.
Dr Francois Marc Modzom on his part explained that the ceremony will become a tradition every Monday in the institution. He argued that the activity is symbolic of respect for the fatherland.
After hoisting the flag, the freshmen and outgoing students of the institute joined the IFCA and CRTV staff present to sing the national anthem.
At the end of the occasion, the incoming batch of students was christened the “TNT Batch”.
