CRTV bids farewell to over 50 retirees

Over 50 retired staff who have served the Cameroon Radio Television in different capacities have been officially sent forth for retirement.

The send-off exercise was performed by the Director General of CRTV Amadou Vamoulke during the traditional presentation of New Year Wishes organized at the Corporation’s studio one in Yaounde.

While acknowledging their great contribution to the growth of the Corporation and wishing them prosperity as they begin a new life, Mr. Vamoulke handed their retirement certificates and gifts offered by corporation.

Among the retirees was veteran journalist Christopher Abia Chou who has served for 33years at the programs department of the CRTV National station. He encouraged those he leaves behind to work in love and unity.

Apart from bidding farewell to retirees, Mr. Amadou Vamoulke called on CRTV staff nationwide to be efficient and innovative in the creation of programs so to ensure productivity and to brave the over growing competition of the audiovisual media most especially the digital terrestrial broadcasting.

Mr Amadou Vamoulke during the New Year wishes ceremony wished his staff happiness and good health in 2016. Collaborators in the same way wished him well notably the retirees who were given the privilege to shake the Director General’s hand.

The ceremony was graced by thrilling presentations from the CRTV orchestra and a moment of fun from a comedian.
