Many dealers of call box and cyber businesses are now getting a sting from the latest technological gadgets like smart phones and tablets.

The introduction of these new gadgets have sliced out the privileges most cyber and callbox dealers have enjoyed.

Apart from the gadgets, mobile telephone networks have also contributed as they grant some privileges such as free calls, messages, internet etc., to customers.

With the introduction of these new gadgets, cyber users would prefer to stay either at home or in their offices to surf or make calls.

As such, call box and cyber dealers would always have to complement with other business items if they rely have to make maximum profit.

Bouba is one among many call box dealers who has for two years complimented his stance with some items like: biscuits, candies, detergents.

According to him, phones are now affordable and people cannot always keep on coming to his stance just to make calls. What people mostly do is transfer, which in itself has also become outdated since most telephone mobile operators have given clients transfer codes where they can receive credits without necessarily coming to the roadside.

Emmanuel Kwamu on his part has decided to sandwich his cybershop with a beer parlour, provision items and some cosmetics since cyber customers are far fetch.

Other cyber dealers survive at the mercy of their documentation which they cannot help but rely on since it yields them maximum profit.

Even though faced with this business challenge, there is always a way out as Guy Rene Edoa a cyber-dealer affirms: “it is true that the outcome of smart phones, tablets, and internet modem have driven away our customers.

But I think what I will do in order to attract more customers is to get more tablets to enable those without this gadget freely use them.
