Some 320 passengers of CAMAIRCO who have been stranded in at the Yaoundé and Douala international airports for about a week finally took off for Paris-France in the evening of Tuesday 9th September 2015.

They were lifted off by a hired airbus from the Nsimalen international airport after days of protests against the company's inability to care for them.

The problem caused by the lack of aircrafts has underlined the worsening crisis within CAMAIRCO that should have begun with a rehabilitation process.

According to airline officials, the Cameroon Airlines Company which manages only three planes is engaged in three international routes. In addition, one of its biggest aircrafts, the Dja, is currently undergoing maintenance.
