Cameroon – Comoros Island: A new path charted

Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang has received in audience, the Vice President of the Comoros Island in charge of Health, Solidarity, Social Cohesion and Gender Promotion, Dr Fouad Mohadji.

During the audience, both parties explored ways or reinforcing cooperation ties between Yaounde and Moroni.

The Vice President of the Comoros island also used the audience to praise Cameroon for the assistance and support to his country since they obtained their independence in 1975.

After the audience, the Union of the Comoros envoy, Dr Mohadji told the press that concerted action is the key to winning the current war against the terrorist sect Boko Haram. He went on to pledge his country’s determination to support Cameroon in the fight.

Dr Fouad Mohadji is attending the Council of Ministers of the Pan-African Inter-Governmental Agency for Water and Sanitation, taking place in Yaounde.
