Cameroon played host to two Handicraft events on April 4,2016. The inauguration of the International Handicraft Centre and the official launching of the 5th International Handicraft exhibition in Yaounde.
The International Handicraft Centre which is worth 1.8 billion FCFA was inaugurated by the President of the Economic and Social Council Luc Ayang.
Meanwhile the Minister of Small and Midium sized Entreprises Social Economy and Handicraft Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa officially launched the 5th Edition of the Cameroon International Handicraft christened SIARC.
The Handicraft Centre has been initiated by Government to promote the country’s craft work so as create direct or indirect employment.
Over 600 participants from 20 Countries 500 from Cameroon are participating in the International Handicraft exhibition in Yaounde.
