Cameroon-Turkey state audit cooperation reviewed

The Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon lon April 24, 2014 held talks with Minister Eyebe Ayissi.

The Ambassador of Turkey to Cameroon, Omer Faruk Dogan and the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of the Supreme State Audit, Henri Eyebe Ayissi on April 24, 2014 in Yaounde reviewed cooperation between Cameroon and Turkey in the domain of supreme State audit. This was during discussions at the Supreme State Audit Office.

After the discussions, Ambassador Omer Faruk Dogan told reporters that they reviewed the results of the Minister’s visit to Turkey in January 2014. He said that during the visit Mr Eyebe Ayissi on behalf of the Cameroon Supreme State Audit Office signed an exchange agreement with the Audit Court of Turkey whose objective is to enable an effective use of time and means.

The Ambassador noted that without the effective use of time and means, Cameroon’s emergence vision by 2035 will hardly become a reality. With regard to Supreme State Audit issues, Omer Faruk Dogan said his country would also want to learn from Cameroon’s experience, especially as Minister Eyebe Ayissi doubles as the Chairperson of Supreme State Institutions in Africa.
